Shruti Ghatak is an Indian-born, Seattle-based artist working primarily in different drawing and painting mediums. Her works are inspired by everyday life experiences, conversations, and personal memory. Displacement, belongings, and identity take center stage in her work as she explores the genres of figurative landscape, still life, and portraiture.
Shruti received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from New York Studio School, NY, USA and an MS in Color technology from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India.
