Moved to Seattle from Japan 1988, lived in LFP since 1990. Mostly self taught fine artist.
Nature and spirituality are the source of my creativity. Poetry and music inspire me.

Studio is surrounded by a bamboo garden, like in Japan or china. My newest works are like mandala. So people can enjoy the atmosphere. I can set up a calligraphy table for the people to experience.
I’ve been a Butoh dancer for last 12 years. I’ll be dancing in my teacher Joan Laage’s “wondering and wandering “ this summer in Japanese gardens in Seattle. I maybe invite my Butoh friends to perform in the garden.
